El
Verdaguer is located very near to the Castle and the Monastery of Lluçà.
El
Verdaguer is a self-catering accommodation and it is an additional income
to the farmhouse business of "La Font" de Lluçà
(certified exploitation). The owners grow cattle, cows, sheep, cereal
and forest exploitation.
We
do not have any notice on the construction date but on the will of the
Lluçà Lord in the year 905 the house was already mentioned.
The present construction might date from the 1600..
The house has been restored preserving the original structure. Many of the walls are made from mud. During the reconstruction the most modern materials were used (see the doors and windows).
The
antique spirit and atmosphere is preserved while you can enjoy the confort
of a modern house with living room with chimney and TV.
